(no subject)
I can't keep up with people changing their names on Facebook. I keep logging on and seeing names I don't recognize, and have to figure out that it's a girl my age who's just gotten married.
WASBE was probably the most inspirational experience ever. In IYWO, the conductors were amazing: always insightful, effective, and knew every detail of the pieces. Everyone wanted to be there, so there were no bad attitudes. The bands that were invited to play were awesome, culminating in the Marine Band, which actually made me want to practice so I could play in a group that good!
Hoping things will work out in the fall. I'm hoping to work in the CSO box office, continue babysitting, and (gasp) get students?! Need to work on all those things. I hope that will be enough money to keep me afloat, and if Sinclair calls me to teach, that would be super! Fingers crossed...
