Weekend Stuff
I finally made it back into my apartment Friday evening after spending almost two weeks in a 'corporate suite' that my apartments provided me while fixing my washer and dryer. Why it took so long to do that, I will never understand. All the hoses, pipes, etc. needed to be replaced because of a recall on the stuff. Go figure. The only other thing I remember doing Friday night was laying around watching t.v., then watching an older podcast of an NCIS episode on my new iPod. That was pretty interesting. Although it took me a while to figure out how to turn the volume up, I finally discovered how to do it and watched the rest of the show being able to finally hear good.
Saturday was crazy, as I had scrapbooking all day long (i know it seems lame, but I enjoy it), then a ritual and potluck that night. Busy busy.
I then went to the river yesterday and was there for hours with two friends of mine, and when we finally made it back up the hill to the car, my friend realized she had lost her keys in the river. We had to wait while the other friend got a ride from a complete stranger to where her car was parked (where we started), then came back to get us. Mind you we were completely wet and freezing hours before and continuing to freeze our butts off the rest of the night. By the time I got home it was 11pm, and I had to get up and go have an MRI done of my back this morning at the butt-crack of dawn. Fun, fun.
