Stuff
Tomorrow is "Bring Your Kid to Work Day", and I will be bringing my 8 year old. I think he will really enjoy being here, and they get a continental breakfast, lunch and ice cream in the afternoon. Along with the usual tour of the offices. Ok, so it doesn't sound that much fun, but there will be some games for them to play. I figure it's just more time I can spend with my son that I don't always have.
On another note, I finally went out and purchased a 30 gig iPod. Now I just have to figure out how the darn sucker works. Not that I am the most untechnically savvy person around, but I haven't really played with one before, so I have to play with it for a while and figure it out. The most exiting thing to me is that I will be able to watch t.v. shows and movies on it, as well as download music from my own cd collection. Very cool! (ok, so I am a dork, but it's a new toy and I am really exited about it) ;)
I have been living in a fully furnished apartment in my complex while they fix my washer and dryer in my apartment, and I have to tell you that it's a really nice set-up. Makes me wish even more that I didn't have so much crap, and makes me long for a storage space to put half of everything I own in. And it's been nice having cable to watch after months of not having it as well. Now I just have to get my internet connection back up and running so I will be able to continue with school and download stuff on the new iPod...
