Sep 07, 2009 15:04

*While Revya is busy going batshit crazy, Shinku has been bringing people to her tea house, to offer protection. The tea house, which is away from the battle, is surrounded by a thick wall of her flower petals, that seems to do an ok job blocking the random debri that sometimes goes towards it. Shinku and the prinny are inside, fixing tea and cakes ( Read more... )

Late to the party, but woo! big_whoop September 8 2009, 20:01:44 UTC
Fleeeeeee oh hey safe house.

*huff* *puff* This... *puff* isn't a standard thing around here isn't it? I'm kind of allergic to psychotic beings of ultimate power.

Well, this has not happened since I've been here. I'm glad to see your ok Mr. Guybrush. Would you like some tea?

Well, at a time like this I'd seriously prefer grog, but tea will do in a pinch.

Man, I knew nothing good would come of going to a library around here.

*Orders some green tea for Guybrush

Why were you going to the library?

Well, I figured if I was gonna have to delve into deep, dark dungeons, I oughta know something about them. Or at least have a few big, heavy things to throw at giant nasty monsters in a pinch.

He accepts the tea, and pulls the books he managed to salvage from the now moldering library from his inventory. Titles: "Geo Panels and You," "So You Want to Be a Dungeon Grinder," and "How to Make Yourself Flavorless and Unappetizing: Dungeon Survival Tips."

I guess that means I don't have to worry about late fees anymore.

That seems like a very god idea. Mind if i read one of the books? I do want to learn some more about this, "Random Dungeon" I have been hearing about.

Be my guest. Heck, it'll probably take me a while to read these things. I'm not too good with non-fiction.

*she grabs the book about geo panels, and starts reading.

Hmm, there seems to be many different types of geo panels and effect. One effect is instant death.

Yipe. Gotta watch out for that, then.

Too bad we couldn't use it on Miss Crazy McBlowemup out there.

She would have to be standing on the panel, and then we would actually need to hit her. I doubt we could have gotten her to stand there.

We could have used a invincibility panel. Nothing can kill us, or any enemies, while we are standing on it.

Oh, I like the sound of THAT sorta thing. Where do you get these panel thing-a-ma-bobbers anyway?

they seem to appear randomly in a dungeon, and they type you get is also random. But it one is a Geomaster, you can change the geopanels once per map if you don't like what they are.

So if I were a Geomaster, I could totally mess with things to my advantage, eh? Hmmm...

yes, but I don't know how one becomes a geomaster. it shows a picture of an old man floating in air here...

Boy, I hope the "old" thing isn't some sort of class requirement.

Darn it, I'm starting to talk in RPG talk. I really need to get out of this place.

Lets see what else it says...

*turns a few pages

Well, if you destroy a Geoblock on a different color panel then it is sitting on, it will change that color panel, while damageing anything on it. If it destroys another Geoblock, it will start a change reaction.
