Quick Recount of Not too Eventful Events
Hmm, what has happened since I last documented my life??
Well, my car's Service Engine Soon light came on about a week ago, but it went off when I started running the air conditionare for short periods. So I'm not too worried just yet.
My mater is better, still can't walk on her foot but they took off the cast. She is now in a "boot" (which looks to me like some kind of foot lojack) and has weekly appointment to check on the wounds.
Assasins auditions are about 7 days away ... YIKES!!!!! I really want to do this show, but I'm freaking out. My musical auditions lately have ... how to put this delicately ... well, they've blown. But if not this show, there's Mame and Chess coming up.
My show Eccentric opens on Friday. 4 Performances only and then the theatre that started my professsional career is gone. I'll miss it, but just wait until the Beckett Festival! We'll kick butt.
No new personal relationships on the horizon. I have gotten to know some of my girlfriends a lot better. We're really a family. I am still coming to terms with it.
I'm addicted to "Dinner for Five" from IFC. God Bless cable shows on DVD!! Also, Netflix Fucking RULES!!!!
Just watched "Five Children and It" with Eddie Izzard and Kennith Braugnah ... Eddie was funny as always, but the movie is pretty bad, even for a sappy kids flick. Also watched "Miss Congeniality 2" , and that's 90 mins I'll never get back. Now I have "The Last Shot" that I've been eagerly awaiting with Alec Baldwin and Matthew Broderick.
Did you know Ewan MacGreggor is on Broadway right now in Guys and Dolls as Sky Masterson with Jane Krakowski as Adelaide? I knew that Entertainment Weekly would come in handy.
