Any cat care advice?

My foster kitty has thrown up three times since I started taking care of her, and she's been living with me less than two weeks. She seems to be just throwing up her science diet pet food. I know that she kills bugs that she finds in the apartment, but she seems to leave most of them lying around for me to find, rather than eat them (although there was one cricket in the washroom the other day that I haven't found again). Also, I've never actually SEEN her at it, I just find the vomit later on the carpet. So it's hard to tell what could be causing it. I guess she might also be eating bits of lint from the toy mice that she's torn apart, but I've been picking up most of the lint and felt that is lying around.

I've read that sometimes cats just vomit after they've eaten too much and been active too soon afterwards. This might be what's happening because the kitty is very playful and active most of the time. But I'm getting just a bit concerned. Is this normal?
