Comics and movies, yay!
1. The epic epicness that is The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal continues to be epic. Anyone else reading it? And how many times can I use 'epic' in this post? A lot. :D
2. Scott Pilgrim! I haven't read all of it yet, so for now I'll just say that I love Wallace. Like, a lot. Also, Kim and Stephen Stills and Ninja!Knives and everyone else. I've also seen the movie, so I guess I've spoiled myself for the ending, but I just couldn't wait - really liked the look of it.
3. Speaking of movies, I'm trying to see more classic movies. And by that, I mean fandom classics. And by that, I mean every movie I've ever seen referenced in a fandom context, even if it was only once. My definitions, ladies and gentlemen - narrow, they are not.
Stuff I've seen these past weeks: RocknRolla, Sliding Doors (Okay, I haven't seen that one referenced, I borrowed it from my teacher.), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead (Why hello there, Gary Oldman and Tim Roth), The Road to El Dorado (:D), Reservoir Dogs and Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Yay, Monty Python!).
If I find the motivation, I'll sit down and mainline Star Wars, because I've never seen the original Trilogy and can barely remember the newer movies.
Any suggestions for other movies I should check out?
