well ladies and gentlemen, it has been quite the day ..... first things first, i got a promotion at work *yay* as soon as this semester is over i will be going the full 40 as a sales rep for bally ... im way excited about this, you guys have no idea .... i also got very lucky in my american gov class ... we got our tests back and even though a good 60% of the questions i took as crap shots i still, amazingly enough, got a 75 on it ... hoorah ... and i saw cory today ... we went to the tomato and all that jazz ... it is always cool to hang out with cory .... here's where the kicker comes in ... after all that i went down to burleson to visit some old friends .... namely robert and matt ... yeah , for those of you who don't know the background , robert was basically my first love.... i had a crush on this guy from sixth grade all the way through senior year ... shit you not ... neways ... i had promised matt that i would come down to see them cause i haven't for so long but tonight wasn't just the redneck bruhaha that it usually is ... not to say that didn't happen ... but after matt went to bed, bob and i started hanging out in his room watching south park ... not unusual ... but then , out of nowhere he started pulling all of this stuff out being like, "remember this" ... all of this nostalgic shit .... u guys have to understand that as it turns out, this kid is an crazy pack rat .... he still has a random note i sent him in 7th grade that said "hey, what's up" ... not even kidding ... it's crazy ... so he started pulling out all this stuff like i stuffed bear i gave him ... and a ring that i let him steal from me ... here's the worst one... i tried to steal it from him but he wouldn't let me ... ok , for his 15th birthday (ya, a long ass time ago) i was trying to figure out what to get him cause i had no money .... at this time this boy was obsessed with two things: magic the gathering and britney spears ..... so i went to another friends house and we spent all day working on it but we ended making a very legit personalized magic card that he could actually use in play (go me) and *here it is* a happy birthday vid of me and meagan dancing our own personal choreography to a couple brit songs ... yes, it's disgusting , i know .... well he pulled that video out and waved it in front of me going "bet u didn't think i still had this one" and of course me being the airhead that i am the first thing i asked him was why he still had it ... and this one i did not expect "i don't know. i liked it. it's become an annual thing, i find it every year and watch it on my birthday" i didn't know what to say ... cause as lame as that is, it's also really sweet ... i used to always think that he just threw the things that i gave him (and u all know that i always put care into gifts, i won't give it unless it means something) into a corner or something ... he always puts up this fuck all attitude about everything else so i figured this would be no different .... aparently i was wrong .... i almost cried right there ... cause he knew exactly where everything was too ... and i'm talking about shit that i haven't seen in 4 or 5 years ... i didn't know how to respond to that .... i still don't know how to respond to that.
