Optimism, and other things

My kind of optimism is actually a cold, hard realism. It's the knowledge that nothing ever is quite as good as you hope it might be, which means that anticipation is always the best part of anything. And knowing that, how can you not indulge wholeheartedly in anticipating things ( Read more... )

Whatever you do, I really hope you don't scrap the post even if your theories are proved wrong. Who knows, we may need that bit of optimism more than ever at that time?

The balcony backdrop is hilarious in its unrealness. I was really scared there for a moment when Dick threw out the polaroid. It looked dangerously close to going straight through. I like your idea of the prehistoric landscape. I'd also suggest a lunar landscape, and since I'm currently obsessed with Rome (the series, not the city) perhaps one of the Roman battles against the Gauls? I think Logan would appreciate both the bloodshed and the the pretty colors! =)
