Slave Market [and possibly Obedience] // Aphro eventually

Jan 12, 2011 04:45

The large room was full of hustle and bustle, as many had turned out for the annual auction of rarities, but it wasn't for little trinkets, high-class gemstones and historical artifacts - it was an auction for people and magical creatures that were used as potential sex slaves and companions. Mostly they were wild and untamed, taken forcefully from ( Read more... )

Ah... I hope you don't mind. likes_power January 12 2011, 10:03:55 UTC
"Actually," she says, giving the auctioneer a look. "She was mine to begin with, so I think I'll just take her." With that, she snaps the auctioneer's neck, killing him instantly.

Any guards in the area, should they try to stop her, are dispatched just as easily. For her finishing touch, she sets free the other magical beings, collars and all, letting them loose on the audience, allowing her to spirit Mesprit away in the confusion. She doesn't need to see the, uh, results of Faye's handiwork...

Not at all! roamin_emotion January 12 2011, 15:02:00 UTC
The buyer looked very familiar, as she was someone Mesprit was very close to before she had been captured. A relieved look was enough to signal her satisfaction.

"T-thank you..." It was probably best that she didn't see anything, but the sprite could still sense rage and obvious death in the air. It was a horrible thing to do, so those guards and the auctioneer had gotten exactly what they'd deserved for their crimes. At least the other creatures were freed, and that was a good thing to know as she and Faye escaped. Where they were headed, the fairy didn't care.

It might be interesting to note that some of the other beings are powerful fae themselves, who likely owe Faye gratitude fro freeing them. As for what happened to the rest of the audience... It's best if Mesprit doesn't know.

She intends to take the fairy home, and only removes the collar once they're on their way...

She's used to not knowing the full story, as she'd be more sensitive and her reaction would probably end up being huge and teary. Faye wouldn't want Mesprit to deal with that now, would she?

Then again, no one deserved to be sold like that, magical or not. At least that collar's coming off - it was a pain.

Yep, she's aged up. undead_scarlet January 12 2011, 11:45:32 UTC
Excited murmurs spring up once Mesprit's new owner steps forward. If the fairy isn't completely ignorant of the outside world, she should recognize her owner as none other than the Scarlet Devil herself. "That's exactly what I plan to do," she replies, taking Mesprit's hand.

"Come along, girl." And with that, she begins to lead the fairy away to her new hotel room...

Ignorant, she is... unfortunately. Many years of slumber in a lake tend to keep current information from getting to her.

Mesprit had heard the conversation, but what they meant, she hadn't the foggiest. With a look of confusion, she found her hand in her new owner's and her feet following the given order. It was a mix of anticipation and dread filling her mind, but perhaps things wouldn't be so bad... or at least not as bad as it was all bound up after she was caught.

While everyone is still surprised with Remilia's unexpected appearance, she leads the fair into the elevator, and they're soon bound for her floor. Once she reaches her room, she unlocks the door to the suite and has Mesprit open the door for her.

At least Mesprit will be treated well...

Good treatment is always good, but Mesprit doesn't know that; the identity of her captor is still unknown to her, but she senses something strong about her regardless.

She doesn't want to be rude or get fussed at so soon, so the sprite just keeps quiet during the elevator ride and strangely keeps doing as she's told. Questions can be asked once they're in private, right?

Kaiba refrained from getting angry at the man's casual attitude, but he merely bent to whisper in his ear. The auctioneer went white and Kaiba smirked, taking the key and note from him. He beckoned to the girl, his face going completely impassive as he examined her.

He himself was not one to randomly buy women for his entertainment. No, he could easily attain any companion he liked, but something about the slave auctions made him unspeakably angry. He didn't have the power to have them shut down, and he sensed that the trade would go on anyway, in more secrative places. He could only do his best and liberate as many as he could.

Indeed. roamin_emotion January 12 2011, 22:54:11 UTC
What was spoken between her new owner and the seller was something the sprite was probably something that she wouldn't understand and didn't need to know.

Their eyes met, but she wasn't sure what to make of them. What she felt from them was some sort of good intention, but not like the others that had made up the bidding audience. A look of slight fear took over her face, and to be honest, Mesprit was more afraid of what people in general would do to someone like her. Perhaps she could break free once an opening could be found, before things got too far out of hand.

He walked along with her out of the building, flipping open his cellphone, dialing a number, and saying a single word before closing it. A sleek black car pulled up in front of them not more than 5 minutes later. Its windows were tinted, but other than that, it looked inconspicuous enough.

Feeling her hesitation, he turned to face her, offering his hand, though not altering his expression in any way lest someone from the underworld was watching.

She had been sold to a quiet one, that was definitely sure, as well as quite mysterious. What did he want with her, and... who was he contacting with that phone?

So many unanswered questions, yet Mesprit was still a bit wary once the car arrived and his hand was outstretched towards her. Hmm, that seemed trusting enough, but the sprite nervously brought her hand to meet his. "W-what do you want with me...?"
