Trying to appear normal after his initial terror, Ray reached behind him and shoved his gun into his belt. "...You been there long?"
Ray was pretty keen to find out just how long.

"Did they not believe in holsters back in your precinct?" Asher asked, motioning to Ray's belt.

He didn't look freaked out though. Was that a good sign?
"Uh..." He swung his gaze back to Asher, then looked down at himself. "Oh, yeah. They issued me with one. But I figured if I was ever gonna get patted down, I wanted all the action to happen further south."

"See, that's the great thing about this place," Ray replied, coming to a stop in front of Asher and tilting his head leisurely to the side. "There are no laws. Just don't tell anybody."

Coconut badge or not it certainly wasn't the first time Ray had contemplated it before, and he could remember one night vividly when his will power had failed to hold out. Weirdly enough, he wasn't totally averse to a repeat show.

He lifted a hand in a wave to Fraser so he knew he was heading off now. A finger went to his lips briefly too just to remind the Mountie (and the wolf) that what he'd said was confidential. He knew Fraser knew but he couldn't be sure about Dief.
"Where're you headed?" he asked, turning back to Asher and resting his hands on his waist.

"What the hell was that?" Asher asked, watching as the Mountie disappeared from sight and then turning his attention back to Ray while completely ignoring his question. His was more important anyway.
