I have come up with an analogy that entertains me way too much: if perfume genres were literary genres, fruity-florals would be YA Paranormal Romance With Love Triangle.

As in: it's definitely possible to make a very good one, but it's really easy and really profitable to cynically set out to make a flagrantly mediocre one and shift a million ( Read more... )
