i guess it's time for the "back to school" update, right?
uga is...well, ok. i'm having a pretty good time meeting people, going to classes, hanging out, etc.
between living in marietta, ghp, and usy, i know quite a few people here. it's nice. my dorm is quite large in comparison to the others, and is nice and new. pictures should come shortly of the dorm in its current state (messy).
the classes:
psych- awesome. I went to my first class today, because I rearranged my entire schedule. it looks like an interesting class with interesting people in it (knock on wood).
chem- i swear to god, i will do well in this class. godamnit.
macro- just transferred into this class. hopefully, it will be fun. i like economics, despite popular belief.
french- they put me in a ridiculous french class. i'm transferring to higher level. we'll see how that works out.
i have two seminars--one, intro to honors, which is fine. nothing big. i like my advisor. second--new problems in physics (i'm a dork), i haven't taken yet.

my roommate is quite sweet. her name is stelley. we get along well, je pense.

i went to the hillel bagel brunch. it was lame ass. i'm still going to give it a try, though. maybe it will get better.

last weekend:
friday- Krush Girls. Awesome. Yay for 80's music, the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Postal Service, and Britney Spears. Plus, the bonus of seeing my friends act ridiculous, including Nathan being drunk and booty-dancing.
saturday- i saw garden state. it was good. you should see it.
sunday- yes, i am a dork. i went to the public library and a craft store. i opened an account at the library, and borrowed the following books: Short Stories of Leo Tolstoy, The Death of Vishnu, Davita's Harp, Player Piano, and Native Son. Yes. I do realize that I am a dork.

deep and i have become quite good friends. this is suprising because we weren't really that close at ghp.
i seem to be able to link myself through people i know to lots of people here.
i am going to see we vs the shark on wednesday.
I finished an oil pastel piece today, and painted corkboard. I also have a very nice piece of watercolor paper that is begging to be painted. i really miss having an art class everyday. i think i'll sign up for one next semester. i hate this damn small desk which is not conducive at all to creativity.
my extension cord doesn't work. why? i don't know.
