Boring ramble

The weekend didn't go exactly as planned, but I did knock off a few goals. Christmas decorations are packed away, house is tidy, laundry, trash and dishes done. Managed four good hours at the office and my base hoop workout is caught up. Week five starts tomorrow. Trying to badger myself into adding weight training every other day, using Gavin's simple routine (squats, overhead press and deadlifts).

My sleep was wrecked last night, so I worked a few hours from home yesterday. Plenty of comp time to draw from.  I could take a few weeks off and barely touch it. I'll be taking more time off and doing more half days this year, but not during billing weeks. Prepping for the next one, which starts on Wednesday.

Finally gave in and took a nap around 18:30. True to my current pattern, I woke up three hours later with low grade hot flashes. The most sleep I can expect in one go on the best of days is 4 hours. If I add the weight training and more outdoor time, I'd expect it to improve.

Tomorrow's plan is light hooping warmup, weights, working downtown until 8 or 9-ish with an after hours hoop break. Hoping to knock out rejournals, new project set-ups, email drafts and AR reports and actually have some breathing room before billing starts.
