hey! i'm not afraid anymore!
well, it's ten minutes after noon and i have nothing better to do but update this little weblog.
christmas was just o.k. i'm pretty ambivalent. it's not like the days of waking up at five a.m. in my superman pjs to run to the front room and find my first two-wheeler bike (with training wheels, of course).
"hey joel, what's your favorite riff of all time?"
"umm...i don't know..."
"yeah, not a lot of people think about that, do they?"
"i guess 'sunshine of your love', or 'smoke on the water', or maybe 'in-a-gadda-da-vida'. those are the first that come to mind."
"those are good ones. mine's 'kashmir'."
i think it's great that jake is really into classic rock. he would never admit to it, though.
watched 'home alone' last night. amazing.
the old man got to me; he always does.
