The BBQ yesterday was a complete fail, in terms of me controlling myself. What a surprise. I'm depressed today. I basically ate my whole weekend away. I've been crying off and on since last night because I'm struggling to bounce back and re-focus.

On the upside, I didn't weigh myself this morning. I've been weighing myself everyday for almost a month now and I know that's one of the main reasons why I've been getting so stressed out lately. I do much better on the weeks when I just weigh in once because I'm less neurotic, heh.

UGH. June is just turning into a shit month for me. Sure, I made my 80 pound mark, but I've been having emotional breakdowns in the meantime.

I did like Jillian Michaels' tip of the day for today though:

Meditate on your daily goals every morning to give purpose to your day. And every night before you go to sleep, think about your vision of the ultimate you - strong, healthy, and happy. If you reaffirm your belief in yourself and your goals, you'll find yourself taking the actions needed to achieve those goals.

In the past few months, I've been able to re-assure myself pretty easily and effectively. But lately, I've had this general uneasiness about my ability to reach my goal and I don't know where it's coming from. Perhaps I just need to take Jillian's advice and take the time each day to remind myself of why I'm on this journey in the first place.
