Kime blog: 2008/9/29
Liz again. :P Here's another Kime entry, this one from just before the two entries I posted on Friday. Sorry for the out-of-sequence-ness, but...this one needed to be translated. Really really. :P
Anyway, in today's installment: Kime has many encounters with children and nearly launches a little boy into space. :P

Children
It's become really cool outside, ne.
It's fall!
The evenings are a little cold, though（＞＜）
In the middle of that, I went swimming for the first time in a long time.
I go to the gym, but I haven't gotten into the pool for 1 or 2 years, ne.
I wasn't able to go swimming at the beach in the summer, either, so I wondered if I should try going swimming in the pool.
When I tried going to the heated swimming pool nearby, there were lots of kids (grin)
They were really energetic (sweat)
There were lots of elderly people, too, so I swam slowly.
It was a good feeling v
＜Incident in the sauna＞
There was a sauna that wasn't too hot inside, and so there were children in it.
If you didn't close the door properly, it would hang open, half-shut, but all the people who left the sauna left it half-open like that（＞＜）
But without a moment's delay, Kid A would go and close the door v
I was really impressed and thought he seemed like a really thoughtful kid♪
His friends called to him, then, and so Kid A left the sauna.
While giving him a silent "thank you," I watched him go.
！？
『 You left the door half-open, too？！！！！！！』 (grin)
Disappointing, very disappointing, Kid A.
You'll become a fine adult, I think.
＜It's been a lo～ng ti～me ne～♪＞
Yesterday, after six months, I got to meet my friend's two-year-old again!
A little boy.
He remembered my name but it seems that he forgot my face, because he hid behind his mother when he saw me.
！？ Kimeru shock!!!（＞＜）
Even though I'd been thinking about all those things to give you～ Kii! ←fishing for presents！？
Maa, but after about 30 minutes, he was all right, ne.
And that's because...
I'd prepared a present as a counter measure♪←it's a present after all v (grin)
Thanks to the effectiveness of the present, it got so we were getting along really well, and so we said goodbye to his parents and were able to go off to the park by ourselves.
The power of kids is amazing, ne. Going down the slide so many times.
They never get tired! (sweat)
It's really hard being a mom, ne.
Everyone who's raising children right now, thanks for all your hard work. m(__)m
And Aeon. [1]
They have lots of different things, ne, Aeon.
It was fun♪
But, he pestered me to go over to the Children's Hiroba [2], so I ended up becoming a member there (grin) ←membership system
Even though I'm not even married yet... (grin)
And then, an Incident occured there.
A certain naughty boy came over and started interfering with our play.
They really exist, ne, boys like Jaian. [3]
The boy interfered, and my child-friend got angry! (sweat) [4]
I told him, "No fighting!!!" and somehow made them play nicely together, though...
Jaian said, "Nee? Whose mother are you?"
I said, "I'm OO-chan."
And then
『 I'm a man, idiot～～～！！！！！！！！！！！！！！ 』←giant swing!!
kuru-kuru poi (T/N: the sound of swinging someone or something around your head and then throwing them away into the distance. :P)

Was what I wanted to do and say (grin)
Self-control, self-control (grin)
I was really in iminent danger of throwing him. <--You're scary. [5]
If I'd done something like that, his parents would've come running furiously over while we were using the slide (grin)
＜The information girl＞
Without losing her elegant smile, the information girl stands at the counter.
It's wonderful, ne.
Returning home...
While I was walking home, I happened to catch sight of that same information girl♪ｷﾗｷﾗ
She suddenly appeared, tearing furiously by on her bicycle while holding an umbrella.

[1] He uses "イオン" here, and I can only guess that he means the English conversation school + children's English school "Aeon," but it could very well be something different. Alas, I have no idea. :D;
[2] A "hiroba" is a wide outdoor space, which I know there's a good word for in English but I can't think of it now. :P In this case, it'd basically be like a playground.
[3] He's referring here to Jaian, the bully character in the Doraemon anime and manga. XD
[4] I know "child-friend" sounds really strange, but it's Kime's way of referring to the boy he's with who is also his friend, and there's no way I can think of to get that across in English without making a note like this one. :P I considered using "my little friend" instead, but decided it sounded too pervy and would thus be inappropriate for this section. :P
[5] What happened here, just in case it's not clear, is that Kime wanted to scream, "I'm a man, idiot!!" and launch Jaian into space, but...instead he just calmly answered and went on playing with his friend's kid. :P Also, the emoticons he uses - (ノ-_-)ノ~(／ロ゜)／ - depict this scene, with the emoticon on the left being Kime doing the throwing, while the one on the right is the kid, flailing through space. :P
Finally, sorry for the T/N in the middle of the text, but I wanted the full effect to be clear there while reading it. :P
