weird at my school
happy halloween.. i kinda wish i'd thought to dress up or something oh well. so there might be a strike at my school today, which i would be most happy about, seeing as i'm wicked tired, have tons of practicing and work to do, and have heard that the weather is going to be super this week (which would mean frequent trips to the park if there wasn't school). however, i have the feeling that class is happening.
so, just an update because i never update: school is fucking insane this year. i'm constantly working my butt off. yet again, but even moreso, i have hardly any time for anything but school. I'm learning lots, though, even if my technique feels like it's at a standstill right now, which is frustrating,but, hopefully, it will all pay off and i'll get into college somewhere good next year....heh i'm going to be in school for the rest of my life, it feels like. or at least till i'm 30-something.
hm, what else? I have the best boyfriend in the world. I don't know how i'd stay sane without him.
and: i love new york so very much, but i'm pretty homesick this year. i'm going home this weekend for the second time in 3 weeks. it's funny how much more i appreciate my hometown than when i was there. i love th city so much more really, but northampton's a good contrast to come back to. and i guess i'm also feeling sad because my parents have already sold the house, and the new house will be ready in may or june. sadness, though the new house will be really nice, and will include a practice room for me.
ian and i are talking about maybe going to spain and some other countries maybe this summer. that'd be way more exciting than doing opera workshop, let me tell you.
anyways, i have to go get ready for school. History in 2 hours.
