aladdin shows some arabic pride;

You know, there's been a lot of craziness on these pages lately, and the primary byproduct I've been noticing is that the Aesopeans have been placed up on some sort of pedestal as the 'best' Tale group.

Now, I don't want to stir anything up - the Aesopeans are a perfectly boring nice group of Tales. Some of my best friends are Aesopeans, I swear! ( Read more... )

Hey, I said some of my best friends are Aesopeans!

I'm just trying to make sure dues are given where they're deserved, is all.

You guys are boring. Aesopians get into heist-like situations.

Uh, dude? Aesopeans are hostages in heist-like situations.

If there had been an Arabic involved, he not only would have been pulling the heist, he would have totally gotten away with it and had a torrid sexual affair with George!

Then join the Arabics, not the Aesopeans!

I'M NOT AN AESOPEAN!

I didn't say you were! But I know you're not an Arabic, which is tragic beyond all measure, so I'm suggesting you jump ship and affiliate yourself with us!

I'm not exactly an Arabic tale, but I'm Arabic. Do I get to have a little representation as well? Some of my country's folklore was an influence on your stories after all.

An excellent question! I will award partial credit for your ethno-cultural contribution to our humble origins! Unfortunately I must withhold full credit on the grounds of your belonging to a Tale group other than the Arabics, where you rightly belong!

That's what I'm talking about!

Besides, what sort of morals are things like 'slow and steady wins the race'? Seriously! If you're taking anything from our stories, it's that pluck and audacity will make you rich and happy!

Had three sons by the end of it, doubt the stories were the only entertainment, pup.

But I can neither spell nor pronounce most of the Arabic names!

Plus Eddie's right - Noah is smokin' hot. Hot like a pop tart.

That only lends to our exotic charm! I mean, sure, its easy to spell 'dog', but it's awfully lacking in any sort of pizazz.

Come on, Velvet is way up on Noah! And I'm even coming at the issue from a totally gender-impartial angle, my hand to god!

Yeah, but I'm NOT gender-impartial! I like guys! A lot!

Well then why would you go for an old guy like Noah when you've got a young buck like myself right here, offering to lavish attention upon you! Is Noah offering you this? Is he doing it, perhaps, in private? Because I certainly see no such thing in the public forum.

Us Arabics are all about that sort of prompt service!
