Recap Time
So I've been back in O-town for a few days and instantly fell back into my old routine of work, sleep, tv, sleep, misc activities. Blah I feel like such an old person!
And on that note...I had an awesome time in PR! As soon as that wave of hot carribean air hit me when I exited the airport- bam I knew I was home! I went to Jessica's graduation (aw the first of our grp!) with Edward and Elizabeth. And as soon as the ceremony was finished the biggest downpour broke over us and hundreds of drowning rats were thrashing about in the parking lot trying to grasp anything that would prevent them from being swept away in the flood...ok ok maybe a lil exageration but if there was an aerial shot of that scene I'm sure thats what all of us crazy, dressed up people would have looked like as we tried to run to our cars. Needless to say we were drenched to the bone. Ah nothing like singing in the rain!
And of course what trip would be complete without a visit to Viejo San Juan? I just love that rush of adrenaline I get when I ask for a drink and not have to wonder if the bartender is going to call my bluff and ID me. Ah Puerto Rico you are so good to me!
Last weekend Pedro, Edward, Antonio, Jessica and I got together for some good old fashioned paintballing or 'Gotcha!' We were the hardened, blood thirsty veterans of the game...or at least we thought so until we arrived at the field. Haha needless to say we put our combined our ROTC, WP, ANG, and Civie skills to good use. Ah And Edward and his brilliant 'shoot the ass' strategy--pure genius! If only I had a picture of that!
And of course I had an awesome time visiting my family. Being the oldest cousin on both sides somehow didn't make me feel too cool when everyone except the 8 and 9 yrs olds are taller than me :S ...but they still said I was their coolest cuz (awwww...cutest lil suckups ever).
