Then she had rolled her eyes, called him a numpty, and promised she was coming back. She wanted to visit her Mum and Dad. The Doctor supposed he couldn't blame her. They did run off practically right after she got them all back.
He had poked his head out of the TARDIS and told her to call him when she was ready. He still had that mobile that Martha had given him. Amy had the number and he was anxiously waiting for a call back. Though, she knew him, and the Doctor couldn't stay still while she was off being domestic.
The Doctor landed the TARDIS in Leadworth, 1998. Just a year after he met Amelia, but, for some reason he had this urge to check up on her as it was. He knew she turned out alright, he did travel with her! He couldn't place it. Maybe it was just the fact he had to make sure that she was fine as both a child and an adult.
He stepped out of the TARDIS and made his way up to her home, tilting his head back to look at the house that was properly filled with people now. With a twirl he made his way over to her swing set, gently pushing on it.
