Blah!
Today has been a Monday of the worst kind. I managed to severely sprain my ankle by simply walking around my desk today after lunch. Didn't trip or anything, the ankle just gave out suddenly. Spent almost two hours at the urgent care that is next to the library. The doctor had horrible bedside manner. At least the x-rays showed that nothing is broken. I've spent the afternoon and evening with my foot propped up and iced. Tomorrow is going to be no fun. Big summer program in the afternoon so I can't stay home. I also have programs on Wednesday and Thursday that I can't really miss.
One more thing to moan about. My cousin is getting married on Saturday. I found the perfect strappy sandals to go with my dress. Now I'm afraid I won't be able to wear them, which means I'll need to go shopping for something flat on Friday. I hate shopping for shoes.
Oh well. It could be worse: I could be in a cast.
