the adventure of a lifetime...
so last thursday was the great move from texas to virginia. epic as it was. not even four hours into the trip i was in an accident and was lucky not to have been harmed, injured, or killed. An 18 wheeler was speeding and ended up right behind me, couldn't switch lanes, went into the shoulder and then totally flipped, dumping its whole load of wood chips all over 59. if it would have gone to the right instead of the left, the damn thing would have crushed me dead. after that the trip was fairly uneventful. its slow, lazy, very very very slow.. did i mention slow?.. in this town. more college kids are showing up every day, so its started to reenergize
hopefully soon.
so yeah, i gots a job fairly easy out here.. go me. since im out of state they can't bridge my loan to my financial aide, which means i wont be starting school till next semester because i dont have 867 dollars to cover it (even though as soon as i get my stafford money in september it would be MORE than enough to cover it)
lots of other fun junk is happening.. like, basically everyone in my building are party kids, so every weekend is going to be a drunken blur...
blargh... hopefully i can make 800 dollars crawl out of my ass...
THERE, i did it first.. you damn well better update now! =P
p.s. fuck.. there are no shows even sort of in this area.. i have to drive to DC to see anything decent. fucking bumfuck, middle of nowhere, virginia.
