hey college people!!
so i don't know about you, but i'm having a prety fantastic time. i have already made really good friends with some girls (who, coincedently, live across the hall from me) and i have faith that all of you would love them just as much as i do. my room is all cute and i'm loving it. the weather here is so much cooler than back home too! it can still get kind of humid and hot during the day but nothing like home. in fact, today i wore a sweater it was so chilly!
i miss my friends a lot more than i thought i woould. it's not like i thought i wouldn't miss them, it's just i wish they were here to share all this with me. but i'm 100% confident this is where i should be. i'm having a great time. my classes are all really hardcore and stressful but it makes me study more actually. in fact tomorrow will be the third day of class and i may have studied more already than i did my whole senior year (keep in mind, this isn't saying much).
so i have calc 4 days a week-BLOWS! and our calc teacher is pretty much mrs. harril in man form. amazing and unfortunate i know. but i kinda like him, he's nice. my chem lecture teacher is cool as hell, my bio lecture teacher is a total bitch though. my chem lab instructor (mr. hood!) is INSANE. kind of scary insane, but also the kind of insane i'll probably obsess over (i heard he brings his cats to his office occasionally and keeps them in there). the guy's are also a nice touch (especially one referred to as "german's finest"...woo on fire!). and rush starts next week, eek scary! but exciting at the same time.
i miss my family but i really do feel happier away from them. i know that sounds really bad, it just got so depressing there for me, i really needed a new start and i'm so happy here. i don't even think a sad thought has crossed my mind!
so yeah, it's only my first week and we'll see how things continue, but so far so good.
