As of today, I have had a livejournal for 10 years.

I just looked at my friends list and it has a whole *page* of new entries since this afternoon. Granted, the bulk of them seem to be a webcomic dump (presumably accidental), but even just the others are pretty significant with the pace of things lately. Did lj hiccup?

This is a total longshot, as far as I know, noone who reads this this knows anyone in a position to recruit such a cat, but you never know for sure, so I might as well try ( Read more... )

Happy new year, everybody.

I'm now recovering, fever broke shortly after I posted last, after I went to bed. Got up with a headache (and other aches) which are gone. Mostly, I have to just recover from all that.

If any of you guys are celebrating Chanukkah, have a happy one!

But I wanted to say it, as the thought's been running around my head for days now. I want to thank you guys. For being around, keeping me company, in a way. For *wanting* my friendship when it seemed noone else did.

2009 was a hard year for me. And it was good to have that comfort.

Not long ago, I saw one of the "perfect stranger" movies, "The perfect gift", for the first time. It was actually pretty good. I won't go into the premise right now, as that *could* be considered a slight spoiler, but it's very Christian, and pretty in-jokey in places.
