Mr Macgregor's faulty schnozz

Arr me beauties, this morn as i sit by the open garden door i can smell summer-a-cumin in, the rich scents of god knows what as i'm an ingnorant city boy who can only recocgnise the smell of breezeblocks, top deck and a page 3 girl having a fry up. Still , this is all jolly pleasant, tho slightly ironic as the actual grass in this garden i sit by is astroturf!

The weekend poetry event went very well, Yes, eyes bug out in surprise. It was an immensely enjoyable event, and i think for first time ever at a poetry recital shindiggery i was entertained and impressed throughout.  Even i didn't stink. I was only notable by being one of the bookends fore and aft of the afternoon who actually read from bits of paper, while all the other performers, well performed; the sort of stuff i often shy from, the words 'performance poetry' having oft the same conotations for me as 'singer/songwriter' - people who should often be chased and hunted down from open top landrovers, crushed beneath 'Goodie' size mock typewriters, etc. But by Sir Harry! This was some brilliant reading going on, escpecially from Niall O'Sullivan, who really entertained with some Sarf London gritty but humourous fry-up verse before disembarkng off quick to a gardening job. But also of note were local and very intense poet Rosy Carrick, a more whimsical, propped performance by Nathan Penlington, and more considered, traditional verse (twee descriptions i'm using here) from an excellent Rhian Edwards, and Hugo Williams. Aye, this isn't just a puff piece, i actually enjoyed it. Could have done with more of an audience tho, but special thanks for those, especially strangers, who did trot along. The next one is July 7th at the Art House, again, and i'll be back in my traditional role as DJ to the 'Justroundthecornerfrommyflat Massive'

Hope to see you there, or anywhere.

Any ideas folks> My mobile phone seems bust. Last night fine..made a call no worries, Made one later and they can hear me, but not I, them. Tis the same this morning, unless i turn the speaker on..can't fathom it...Don't think it's a setting thing..but who knows, i am less technical than Duplo Lego....
Cheers!
