What ho young bugs! A quick plug and plea here...ONe is reading for first time in absolutely donkeys, this Saturday, the 9th at and above The Earth and Stars in Brighton. A good reason to stay home and marmalade the cat, you may think but one would certainly like a smaterring of rallying round, especially as it is Yeu-Ing's 2nd event, and tho the first was full of folks, including a racist homeless heckler, we'd obviously like to keep the ball rolling...Also this time it is a 'pay to get in' venture, so she can pay the six poets on the bill..(£3 or £2 concs). Also, there was a discerning lack of people i know who actually would profess to be interested in literature and poetry etc, and we had to make do with a fare more fun and lively bunch of, well, people the 'Back From the Grave' artists make songs about....ie, a great bunch of mates...So come on, all you peeple hoo carn reed and throw pencil erasers at me.....It will be just like skool.
