It's always nice to sneak a peek into someone's methods when it comes to PS. We make our icons very differently... I always come to this conclusion when seeing a tutorial and it always surprises me. You wouldn't think how many ways there are to make something so small as an icon.

It was maybe around a year now, right? I remember the 'saving Bella from getting crushed by the van' animation very well but I can't recall saying that about your coloring though I am sure I did. ;D It's the beauty of the whole photoshop universe. (Yeah, I am sort of obsessed x)
Yeah, around a year... a long time, let's say, lol. Yeah, the 'saving Bella' icon gave me a lot of trouble, I mean, gave US a lot of trouble, haha. And no, you didn't say anything about my coloring :) At least, not that I could tell, maybe I just forgot 8D HAHA, don't worry, I COMPLETELY understand you when you say those i-am-in-love-with-photoshop comments, I feel just the same way as you ♥ lmao.

To me, icon making is mostly about coloring. That's what I was getting at in the comment above. And I can't remember saying that we have so different coloring but we have. And everyone has. It's kind of scary to think that all of us have different methods when these are just 100x100 px icons.
I knew I wasn't alone with feeling like that. LMAO.
Haha, I love to solve problems as well, but when the problem gives me SO MUCH trouble I kind of get stressed. Like yesterday, I was trying to add a name to my resources list, and for some damn reason LJ completely spoiled my post and I lost a lot of people I had there. And I was trying to recover every name and trying to fix the post, but I don't know why LJ kept cutting my entry in the middle ¬¬ I hate HTML, really. Anyway, I was trying to fix it for more than 2 hours and what I found out was that the hyperlinks were destroying the post... I had to cut it out, and I'm planning to check why was it happenning as soon as I can.
But oh, going back to our conversation, haha. Yeah, I think making icons is mostly about coloring too. And I agree, everyone has their own particular way of doing colorings. I must say, you have a very individual way of coloring, I mean, mostly every time I see an icon that was made by you but I don't know who did it, I think "It might me Esther's", and it really was yours! :DD I love your coloring, really^^
I had problems with html as well but by now I am kind of good with it. I was tempted to make changes in my LJ's layout and the experimenting process proved to be an excelent lession. Even if it took days to find all the places where I had to change the code... :D Sometimes I still get lost in it but it's not that hard now. And I admit that I'm stressed while searching for the solution but when I find it, that's just enough to forget all my annoyance. When it's about something that you like to do stress can be good, sort of.

Yeah, and you know... after I spend just a few days using a little bit of html I'm kinda used to it already... but as I'm not having the time to work with it, the usual trouble is here again, lol.
