Nabbed from penny_lane_42 , in an effort to wake myself up: type, "you know you're from [insert state name here] when..." into Google, get the results, and bold the ones that apply to you. Since I am from a lot of states, I'll go with the one I go to school in and actually came from originally:

Colorado! )

avpm, lolz, family, colorado, avps, what i do when i'm bored

I have the same issues with people freaking out about snow! I live in Massachusetts (I have my whole life), and we've had some pretty intense winter storms in my time, but it feels like everyone is always SURPRISED when there's a bit of snow on the ground. You'd think people would be used to our crazy New England weather, but they only tend to drive like even bigger maniacs when it happens. XD

I guess cutting me off in the snow is more fun than doing it on a much safer, clear day? ;)

I'd google Massachusetts, but I feel like I'd mostly get Boston things. My family is Portuguese, so we don't "pahk" anything in Harvard Yard. Lol!

Seriously. You'd think people who live in a snowy climate would learn to drive in one! I understand when people who live in states where it never snows freak out, but nobody else has an excuse, lol.

I guess cutting me off in the snow is more fun than doing it on a much safer, clear day? ;)

Clearly, it's the adrenaline rush. :P

Haha, yeah, I bet the Boston stereotypes are annoying, especially when they don't apply to you.

It ALWAYS freakin' snowed on Halloween. I was routinely mistaken for a purple marshmallow beecaues she made me wear so many layers of snow suit and long underwear
I cannot imagine this, the snow on Halloween that is. I bet you were adorable, though!

Yeah, I think most people have figured out the Rocky Mountain Oysters thing by now.

What's a fourteener?

I wish your family better luck on the traveling front. And yay for AVPS! I can't wait to watch it.

Haha, yeah, too many people were tricked and spread the word. I've never eaten or tried to convince people to eat Rocky Mountain Oysters, but my dad has some great stories about getting back at his Asian business partners when they came to visit him (apparently, when he visited them, they fed him all sorts of things he never would have touched if he'd known what he was eating).

A fourteener refers to a mountain that's 14,000 feet or more, like Pike's Peak.

Thank you! Hopefully, their bad luck does not cross over to my long drive to Colorado in a couple of weeks. D: And yes, let me know what you think of AVPS after you see it!

Haha, that list just made me realize how much I don't miss living in Colorado. Especially this: The bike on your car is worth more than your car and you have your own special bike lane. fdksjss.
