time for a change
I’ve been staying at josh's since the great kitten incident. my mom told me yesterday that she thinks my dad & brother need to get out more after she saw how the reacted the whole kitten thing. she said all they do all day is sit cooped up with those cats and when something happened to one of them they just freaked and overreacted. I’m cool with my mum its just I don’t like the message my brother left on my voicemail, I don’t like they way he talked to me and i don’t like how my dad implied that i am irresponsible. i had a bit of a chat with my brother tonite and I think he's finally getting why i was pissed at him. in anycase i suppose I'm not mad at any of them anymore I'm just annoyed at the whole situation and do not wish for a repeat which is why............
I am looking for a place to live that will let me have a cat. I would love to live with Cody but it is too expensive, $550.00 + utilities + cable + internet + phone. Josh has been talking about us getting an apartment. We might go look at a few places tomorrow. Even if I don’t get a place with him I can probably find a 1 bedroom for $650 including utilities and it will be my own place, that way I can do whatever I want there. Cody has a mortgage on her place (which I’ve heard is a beautiful condo with a rad floor plan), but..... she is understandably protective of it i.e. she isn’t going to want to have parties and is going to be super careful about her place. If I’m paying rent though you better believe I’m going to be having parties and enjoying my place.
I am taking tomorrow off which means I am working on my birthday but tomorrow is the only day Josh has off this week. Josh is taking me out for my birthday, we might go to the Scottsdale Camelback Resort (Josh’s parents have a time share and they are allowed to use the facilities any time they want) and lay out during the day, that is if its not raining. I think that night Josh is taking me to the Phoenix Symphony. I’ve never been to the symphony so I’m rather excited and it’s a really cool thing for him to do for me because he knows how much I’ve always wanted to go.
I guess I’m going to be celebrating my birthday 4x which is rather odd because I normally don’t celebrate it at all, its also rather excessive. I’m going to be celebrating:
1. tomorrow with josh
2. On Thursday at work, yea for a free cookie! :)
3. On Saturday when Carita & Kimmyeatworld and loads of other people "COME ONE COME ALL TO THE HUGE FREAKIN KEGGER AT PETE’S APARTMENT #1234" (speaking of which I still need to make that flyer, distribute it at Nordstrom, ASU and Mill Ave. *hehe* and buy alcohol & cake)
And last but not least.....
4. On Sunday which is when I agreed to have my whole family over, my mum is making lasagna, breadsticks and cake and is going to get salad from the olive garden
Good stuff well i suppose that is all for now, see you all at the party if not sooner!
