welcome back kimmah!!!

i'm so excited and i just can't hide it...........so very happy that my kimmy is back :) :) :)

seriously kim, loss prevention wasn't the same without you. it gets old being the only one in a department with any motivation, ideas/innovation, or organization. you know i think u rock and u are *ping* :) (too bad i can't give you the 33% off)

the phoenix police found my dads car abandoned and said "it is drivable" but other then that we weren't sure what to expect (if you have seen "the big lebowski" you know what i mean when i quote "we think a bum might have used it as a toilet" when the dude's car got stolen). we went to get it from the impound lot and were shocked it was only $35 to get it out. the thieves broke the ignition and the guys at the lot started the car with a screwdriver so we could take it to the shop to get it worked on.

i took my car to the shop to get worked on as well, between the check engine light coming on, the car seizing up and just dying and the AC going out it was time. they said they won't have anyone to even look at it until monday. i HATE not having a car, it really sux i feel so dependant. plus i'm still not sure even on the ballpark estimate on the cost of the repairs.......blah

my dads graduation was really cool, i'm very proud of him! i bought my dad's graduation gown for him at ASU bookstore and asked for a gown and all they asked for was height which i said was 5'7. They gave me a gown that said "Medium" on it. i got it home, my dad put it on and it was so tight, the arms were all short & he looked ridiculous. i took it back the next day and said "i know this is for a normal person who is 5'7, but i need a gown for someone who is built like santa clause" the lady looked at me funny and came back with a gown that said "Med-Large E" on it. it fit great and he didnt look silly, i'm still not sure what the "E" stands for. kim and i decided today that if my dad needs a christmas job he would rock as santa.

my kitten is so rotten, adorable but rotten. shes clawing everything in sight (inanimate objects, hands, feet, legs, faces, furniture, electric cords, etc), meowing all the time, eating the people food on the table, chasing the other cats, not quite making it in the litter box, etc etc etc..........but shes so freakin cute i love her (so did all of my extended family who are visiting for my dads graduation) i think my aunt might try to sneak her out in her suitcase, and my other aunt has been secretly feeding her swiss cheese, not just little bits of it but whole pieces! shes gonna be so spoiled, and have a tummy ache.

björk is only 2 short days away, i can't freakin wait! we're gonna have to take josh's car since mine is in the shop, last time we took his car to CA the air conditioning went out. hopefully we will not have a repeat of that, i'm so looking forward to this trip! hooray for paid time off
