let the birthday crap STOP
uggghhhh... what was SUPPOSED to be a totally awesome weekend turned into crap. We drove ALLLL the way out there, checked into our hotel, went out for a nice dinner, got REALLY excited about going to carrowinds the next day, came back to our hotel and discovered that carrowinds had posted false information on their website. They weren't even going to be OPEN the next day! That's when the crap stared. From there on it was just crap after crap, little things happening that just made the whole thing a bummer. We ended up driving over to Ashboro to go to the zoo, but it wasn't that great seeing as how it wasn't THAT long ago that we had been there last time. I got to go to hobby lobby and that was mildly fun, i bought some scrapbooking items. Then we drove over to a mall in Durham and browsed around. The best part of the whole week is that we got me a slice of cheesecake at the cheesecake factory. We also brought home a box of cinnabon which turned out to be.. you guessed it.. crap. I'm convinced that box had been sitting out there for two weeks.. it was COMPLETELY stale, all the way through. I only ate one, and now we have to throw away the rest. We got home late, and went to bed. That was my "birthday". Not for ONE second did it feel like my birthday yesterday. At all. It wasn't Matt's fault though.. he tried. Looks like the day had other plans though. When am I ever going to have a good birthday again?
