A whole box of great books for $1 makes me all tingly!
Every day that I make a huge to-do list, I don't get a single thing off of it done. Why is that? I've looked into all the possibilities, and I think I'm just lazy.
Hotel Rwanda is an amazingly powerful movie....I watched it last night "right before I went to bed," which I put in quotation marks because I was disturbingly wide awake for the next 3 hours, staring at my ceiling.
There's a book called Re-Member that says things that give me humongous chills....the spiritually inclined of you would appreciate this book greatly, I believe. It talks about the time shift, and other dimensions and things like that, and I'll give more detail as I get more into it. Currently, the biggest point is likened to playing a game where we are trying to find a door without hurting each other, but we are blinded by shrouds, and we obviously keep running into each other, and they say to hold hands with everyone (this is obviously a metaphor), but as I typed that, this occurs to me: wouldn't it be easier and much more beneficial to remove the shrouds.....?
I found a kid's keyboard on the side of the road that takes AA batteries, and I spent the sunset at Riverfront Park playing piano last night.....it was one of the greatest meditations I've ever had. And now I can play piano!!
I also played harmonica like a mofo yesterday. oh yeah.
He couldn't wait 'til Sunday to see me, so he brought me a whole bag of organic fruit and veggies from work, and we shared an avocado, a mango, and ate tomatoes; this man absolutely knows the ways of my heart.
I am living moment to moment.
