Happy DVD player
Well, I got my two imported DVDs today. I popped one in the DVD player and the first thing I got was a region whine screen. Not to be discouraged, I had the magic set of button pushes (5 in all) to use on the remote. Next thing I know, the DVD is playing in all its anamorphic splendor. No black and white, not vertical sync problems. I didn't even have to tell it anything about needing to convert from PAL to NTSC. It did it all automatically. It was perfect. Woo hoo! I'm so happy. :o)
