Okay, proper post this time
And I'm going to dot point stuff I want to say because I'm in that sort of mood.
- Japanese exam yesterday went okay, I think I passed so that's all that matters.
- After the exam, to celebrate my new found freedom I met up with my friend Sarah in the city and we went to Koko Black (chocolate cafe). We had ice chocolates and a Belgian spoil for two. Don't make me describe it, but suffice to say there was chocolate involved, and in large quantities. It was heavenly.
- After staying there way too long we walked around Treasury Gardens, soaking up the warmth and talking about everything under the sun. We also saw some Occupy people. (Except they're not really Occupy, they're hippies sitting outside the wrong building. If they were really Occupy they would be protesting to corporations, not the government. Kind of made me mad because it looked like they were just jumping the bandwagon, but by doing that they're diminishing the message. Blah).
- Then went home, and almost immediately started to show signs of a cold. LIFE, WHY DO YOU SUCK.
- And cooked dinner because I'm a good girl to my mum sometimes. I have completely mastered the average dinner of meat, potatoes and two veggies. Except too much pepper came out so the potatoes were super peppery. It was yummy though!
- Woke up this morning, and I am sick. I guess I should be thankful that it didn't come during exams, but really body? Really?
- ALSO OOH OOH. I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW ON FRIDAY. :D For Luna Park. I could be working in ticketing, food and beverage or rides, but I think I'll probably be in food and beverage because of my barista and food handling qualifications. Apparently I'm basically in already but I don't want to get my hopes up, but yayayay job! Hooray for not going so crazy this Summer!
- And I made a Goodreads account! I'm thinking of posting reviews of the books I read over Summer. Should be fun, eh?
