Sick Day for August: done
Dear Immune System,
While I realize that the stress of the first week of school, coupled with the fact that our cat is missing and probably dead, is difficult for you to handle, I'd prefer it if you didn't bail on me the day before I have to go back to school.
Immune System, as much as I like you, I have to say this - get your act together or I'm firing you and getting a new Department of Maintaining Thai's Health. I don't pay you to make me feel like such utter shit that I can't get anything done over the weekend and then have to stay home. Actually, I don't pay you at all, but you get the picture, don't you, Immune System?
Although I must say that now I can get things done instead of wasting time in front of strange teachers all day.
But don't expect a raise.
