หนึ่ง. Addiction? What addiction? While it may seem initially that Tanya is in denial of her "addiction" to her Blackberry, in reality, she's totally oblivious about it. When she's not talking to someone or busying herself she's on her Blackberry. Her sense of time disappears the moment she lays eyes on the screen. She lives as much of her life on social networking sites as she does in reality. In particular she loves tweeting, utilizing her Blackberry to tweet excessively about the most minor details of her daily life. She doesn't stop there. If you check her photos on facebook or her Blackberry you will find the multiple photos she's taken of herself. There are the occasional images of her with friends and all.
สอง. A second factor Tanya revolves her life around is celebrities. They are a source of endless inspiration for her. What? Um starred in a Sunsilk commercial? พี่Ken uses Citibank? Product, get! Celebrities to her are an example of what the ideal person should do, act and be like. She follows them obsessively to say the least. The posters of hot Thai and Asian celebrities plastered on her walls are evidence of this. Her Blackberry is frequently used to add fuel to the fire as she gets updates instantly on her live rss and newsfeed. To be exact, it's not that she admires their style or taste but rather how they look of money and glamor, beyond reach.
สาม. Tanya has an aversion to driving anything with wheels and an engine. This partially comes from the fact that she's absolutely terrible at it. The idea of getting into an accident terrifies her. She has a driver's license though which her mother had purchased for her one birthday. The second reason why she doesn't drive is because it's a very... masculine thing. Men drive motorcycles. Taxi drivers are all men. There is also public transportation. What's the point in learning how to drive?
สี่. Education to Tanya is simply a prerequisite step to fulfilling her mother's wishes. She's not attending for Liberty University to further her knowledge or pursue her dreams. It's merely an investment as part of a grand scheme to marry off to a rich and sufficient man her family approves of. What use will she truly have for it outside the realm of home, socializing, fashion and shopping? When she was younger she had considered the idea of being a career woman until her mother firmly put Tanya in her place. Women cannot amount to much pursuing a career in a society that prioritizes men. Tanya has accepted this fact and dismisses the very premise that she has ever dreamt of being a career women in the first place. Besides, it seems so much easier to rely on men for income than having to make it yourself.
ห้า. She is a master of all things related to her own appearance. Application of make-up and dressing up is something done in a religious manner. Sunscreen is a must, lest the harsh sun tans her skin. Tanya wears glasses, but not 'real' glasses. Despite her terrible eyesight she actively made the choice to wear contacts and instead adorn fashion glasses or sunglasses so she can adorn them when she pleases. A smile is one of her more consistent accessories. She looks happy and is happy most of the time, coming off as optimistic, polite and nice if not a bit slow. At least, that's the impression she usually gives.
หก. Food is her best friend and worst enemy. There is nothing she enjoys more than good food, it simply tickles her the right way. A good meal puts her in a pleasant mood for the rest of the day. At the same time, everything she deems as delicious is also high in calories or fat to her frustration. When she cannot eat good food outside, she takes it into her own hands to make it herself. Her lack of taste buds from her spicy inclinations in the seasoning makes her dish's flavors a little strong but usually tasty (provided you avoid her super spicy dish of doom). She makes a habit of eating those 'acceptable' foods but in the privacy of her apartment, she can be seen munching on deep fried crickets, chicken feet and various other delicacies.

As long as no one gets hurt, she sees no harm in it.

She's a people person and won't be caught sitting at home when she could be doing something else. Her personality generally allows her to befriend people easily as she likes to be helpful. She feels it is her duty to help those less fortunate than her as well as assist those in a fix. Those who are her friends will constantly find themselves showered with random small gifts every now and then to later be dragged out for shopping or dinner by Tanya. This also makes her a major thrift as things in America are a whole lot more expensive compered to Thailand. However make-up and clothes are an exception. She simply splurges. At times her decisions are rather irrational and impractical due to lack of thought into the consequences of her actions.

She has the occasional vegetable or potted fern around the apartment but her real passion is growing flowers. To be specific, she loves orchids. Unfortunately the temperate climate in Liberty does not accommodate them. She's trying to construct something of a mini-greenhouse on her balcony just so she can ship her prized orchids to tend. Their delicate and exotic beauty is something she admires and wishes to imitate.

Just to confuse people, she'll also wear a wig when she's bored. She likes to dress simply (but fashionably) which works to her disadvantage during colder months. You'll frequently see her adorning clothes and accessories identical or similar to something worn by a celebrity one week ago. The glasses she wears are for fashion purposes only. To deal with her poor eyesight, she wears contact lenses. Can usually be seen sporting a smile. Religiously fixes her appearance whenever she's in the bathroom. Yes she will spend an hour in there if you let her get away with it...
Different/new likes and dislikes:
- Chai loves riding his motorcycle. Tanya doesn't feel the same. Reasons? One, it's a manly thing. Two, motorcycles and skirts just don't go together. Three? Well... it's scary.
- While Chai genuinely wants to pursue education, Tanya doesn't care. Her mother never worked and it seemed to run smoothly for her so... why does she need to get a degree again? Oh right, because it'll look good.
- Despite still being a prodigy with all things plant-related, Tanya doesn't care so much for growing vegetables as Chai does. She would much rather have plants that serve to aesthetically contribute to her decor as opposed to her stomach.
Hopes/Aspirations: To have fun in life and hopefully snag a husband sometime down the road. Like maybe five years down the road, before family gets too pushy about her mooching off them.

Most mortifying experience: Once while attending a wedding for one of her cousins, a waiter tripped and spilled drinks all over her. Her dress was stained, hair and skin wet and sticky. Not only was it uncomfortable but also extremely humiliating. Never was her appearance so embarrassing in front of people. Thankfully, it was mostly family in attendance which limited the gossip about it.
How has the expectations of their family changed due to the different gender?: As she is now a woman education and career has become less important and rather are just there to kill time before getting a husband. As she is a girl usually they are not expected to inherit much aside from money or land if they're lucky (generally no shares and the such) so her future is dependent on finding a husband.
Also due to double-standards, she is not allowed to have unacceptable relationships and, dare she utter it- sex. Maintaining face and outer appearances is a lot more important as the standards for women are higher than men.
However since she's a girl, she's allowed to be a lot more shameless dependent on her parents and get more money, thus the nicer flat.
Which high-school cliche were they?: The cell-phone addict. Technophile. That one over there that's always obsessed over celebrities.
Favourite TV show: ACADEMY FANTASIA~*+~*+~*+ (better known as AF). She's also partial to Channel [V], MTV and E!.
If your character was a Disney/Other prince or princess, who would they be?: Ariel I guess? The way she is fascinated with the world beyond the depths of the sea is similar to the way Tanya is fascinated with the world of stars and idols.
