Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I am thankful for so many things, but yesterday a found a new thing to be thankful for.
Last year on Christmas Eve, my dad was driving to church when he found a purse in the road. He took my brother and sister on to church for their choir rehearsal, then came back and picked it up. He called the woman and met her later that night to give her her purse back. Yesterday she came to our house with a big basket of food and said to my mom, "You probably don't remember me, but I'm the woman your husband returned the purse to last Christmas. I've been praying for you every day. Happy Thanksgiving!"
...wow? That was the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time, and I know this year I will be praying for her every day. Just... wow, that was really awesome.
I hope you all have a fantastic holiday, and I hope you know that I'm really grateful for every one of you! :)
