Today
Alright. So.
Up at 7:45 to go baby sit. Their mom was late picking me up. Girls cried a bunch before she left, not cuz she was leaving but just cuz... they're a little high-maintenence. Especially the older one. Then I had fun with the waffle iron... O:-) Uhhhhhh yeah. I put too much batter in the first time, so it all squished out the sides, then they didn't even cook right so I had 2 1/2 tops of waffles, 2 1/2 bottoms of waffles, and 1 1/2 whole waffles, all of which I had to pry out of the silly things. The second batch went a bit better, but none of them were full squares, cuz I'd poured it all in the middle. But that was fine, the girls said they tasted better than any their mom ever made... awwww :) And then we read books and danced. And played some random game where I was a policeman and they were a family, and we kept stealing each other's pets... ??
Home, played some computer games with my brother, but the server that hosts the thing never seems to be working so... yeah, that was fun. Read some stuff, talked to people... kinda did that all day. Then went upstairs and read my other book. (Roma, it's AWESOME!!)
Then dinner. That was..."fun". Dad didn't feel well, said he didn't want dinner. Fine. Mom goes up to talk to him, comes down almost crying, screams at my sister for asking if she was alright. We ate in almost silence [except for the chainsaws next door cuz they're fixing up the house!! YAY!]. Then Dad came down, dished up some food and sat down. Mom was quiet for a moment, then said "you don't have to eat, you know". We finished dinner.
Then yardwork. Yay! Weeding was ok, the obnoxious bright green grass was really too young to pick easily. There were some MASSIVE dandelions in the back bed along the fence, plus this obnoxious vine thing growing...i'm not sure where from, but it's all on the fence and was starting to attack/strangle the flowers. eep!
When that was finally over we went to Coldstone (mmmm yummy) cuz my dad had a punchcard or something there for helping at church. The girl behind the counter was dancing to the music and mixing the stuff in rhythym. It was amazing. The second guy (there were two) had NO clue what he was doing, though. Oh well...
Home, shower, LJ/talking to people, bed. :D
Other stuff: It was cold today! Ok, 60* but... it was cold! Also...MY LEGS DON'T WORK!!!!!! My left ankle feels really weak, sort of like it did when my cast came off (cuz i hadn't used it), but that was three years ago. My right hip has been bugging me all day, but not like it did last August/September, which was in back, like where I sit or lie on it, but up front, like I'd cracked it (like you would a knuckle) or just...screwed it up. My left knee is not lined up right, off by about 20* or so, and my right knee makes a creepy-as-hell pop-pop/creak noise every time I go up stairs. T_T Not happy. Also Dad says Mom had knee(s?) surgery in college. Wonderful...
