Ok...so I know the title makes no sense. But!! school started off with a bang, and then things became good. :)
My schedule actually couldn't get set up the way I wanted it to originally, but I have another solution, and I turned in my schedule-change request form this morning, so hopefully that will all be sorted out once school starts again next week. And...*drumroll* it involves 2 more classes with Emily and Cara, another class with Lincoln, AND...last period math with KP!!!! *throws gigantic party* I'm SOOOOOOOOO psyched!! Also I don't feel as singularly "smart" in my new bio class, which is superbly amazing.
Sadly, this schedule change involves changing bio teachers... don't get me wrong, I like Becker a lot, but I don't think he'll be as good of a teacher as O'Verko is. :( Although...when I "skipped" study-center and sat in on Becker's class today, he did NOT discuss the way tapeworms work and how people used to rid themselves of said worms in quite as much detail as Mr. O'Verko did 10*. EWWWWWWWW!!! *curls self into Melissa-ball* That was SOOOOOO gross. And rather scarring. Almost as scarring was our DCC advisor at the Activity Fair last night. That, however, need not be discussed. All I'll say: "maiden" cookies and forced hugs are...ah, special...and rather scary...
I succeeded in taking a relaxing walk to Southerly Park yesterday, which immensely improved my mood. It's amazing what an hour and a half not thinking about school can do for one's mental sanity...(as if there were any other kind...*facepalm*)
The only other thing I can think to say is, I HATE OUR EFF-ING COMPUTERS!!!!!!! Well...no, computer in the singular. But it happens to be the most useful one in our house, and the one that's supposed to be running the wireless, so since it's screwed up, we can only hardwire my parents' work computers into the router, one at a time, and my mom doesn't like me using her computer, so it's not too wonderful.
But on the other hand, everyone's in a relatively good mood in the last couple days, which is a definite plus in our family.
Ok, enough babbling. Are there enough paragraph breaks, Michael? And Caelyn, you never responded to my defense of sans-serif fonts. Whaddya think??
Valete!
