A very mixed bag of Recs.

Just reposting a little commentfic that I wrote for the fabulous abyssinia_4077 and ultranos_fic, in the comments to their Meta for Red Sky: Ragnorak - Where Science Goes To Die. In keeping with my obsession for fixing canon, I concluded after reading their hilarious scientific critique of the episode that the things Sam says in the episode are so outrageous that Sam couldn't possibly have believed them. But if so, why would she say them? (*inserts tongue in cheek*)

As a tribute to Supernatural and all the fun the show has provided, I decided to create a hunter's "case file" and send it off to the gang in BC. I wanted it to look real, see, with coffee stains, margin notes and all, as if someone were genuinely out in the field taking notes of a case they were working.

-- > Oh, absolutely gorgeous. It's a fascinating story, and an interesting view on Ianto and on the possibilities of life. It reminds more of Doctor Who than of Torchwood but that isn't a bad thing. My ultimate non-schmoopy feel-good story of Torchwood.
