Ahhhhhh...a day off
Sunday was the polar opposite to saturday workwise. Very calm all morning. Even calmer than usual in fact.
Ended up passing out on the sofa about 10.30 while watching Poirot...woke up at 5am, having been tucked up where I lay with a blanket and cuddly polar bear. H is used to this happening by now.
Have done very little all day. Ordered a bunch of miniatures to build an army for an as yet unidentified game system. I just like the minis and wanted an army of them. Yes, this is stupid. have at least decided that they'll be rush job painted rather than my usual painstaking standard. The test mini looks pretty good imho.
Played some Blood Bowl on the computer. Slaughtering Elves is fun. Building up ridiculously powerful teams by annihilating the rubbish AI is strangely satisfying if you set yourself secondary goals, like scoring with a particular player.
Have just remembered I need to go hang the laundry I ran. Bah.
Evening shift tommorrow. This means lie-in if I'm lucky, though the mornings are generally kinda crap because you find yourself simply waiting to go to work rather than relaxing.
All is good really. Off to take care of the laundry and then I think some more coffee is needed.
