Welcoming New Friends
Hello Flist. I'm afraid I've gone about this internet friend thing backwards. I met someone in line at the grocery store who was new to my area and we chatted. Found out she was interested in weaving and had hoped to join the SCA around these parts, but apparently the Daytona Beach and Palm Coast area doesn't have any groups nearby. So, I suggested she join lj and look for communities and the like. I also said I'd throw out a lifeline, because I remember a few months back when this lj thing confused the beejeezus out of me.
So, take a look at frodolives66 and pass on any info you have that might help, or if you know anyone in these parts. Or if you have any suggestions for meeting folk and making friends. The Publix check-out line is a kind of hit or miss proposition, since not everyone is as fabulous as yours truly! ::grin::
