Residency day 8
No, your eyes do not deceive you, i've skipped days 4-7. and technically 8 has started, but i'm skipping my first seminar.
Right, so not a terrible lot has happened. i don't think anyway. Susan Goodman has talked to Steven Cramer (program director), but only enough to be able to tell me that the switch is possible. She suggested that I show some writing to an actual YA writer and get their assessment. I have yet to do that. I think i might petition Chris Lynch (fabulous, stand-up guy) or Susan Goodman herself. But I know that my stuff would work for the age range, I just don't know what else would be required of me. Maybe I'll talk to Steven about it at lunch today? I love that he makes himself so available to us, despite our craziness.
Made friends with a girl named Katie Z. I hung out with her the night before last as well as last night. Last night mostly because I was trying to save her from awkward alone time with a guy making his move on her (despite her b/f back home...). She's silly. and so's that guy.
Tomorrow I'm eating lunch with Katherine and dinner with Kathanne. Tonight, i've been invited to a party at Eithne's. and while i'd like to go, i don't know that i will. i don't really think i should.
