residency day 5
Okiee. So my stomach still feels blecky from yesterday. I need sleep. I'll probably call jim after i enter all this and then roll over and pass out. I have to get up at 8 tomorrow (yuck!).
But good things: Brian, as promised, intro'd me to Susan Goodman, with whom I'm to meet on Friday during lunch to discuss the idea of switching genres. I also looked online to see if there was anything anywhere to do with my idea, and apparently, Lesley U. is a participant in something called the Hood Project or project WRITE, which is studying the concept of children and children's literacy and the pedagogy therein. so it exists; it's out there.
Hung out w/my peeps. didn't drink, except for the "red headed slut" shot someone bought for me. it was yummy. tasted like juice.
saw marcie today! she's still awesome. she told me that alex would be a good match-up for me, which makes me feel good. I'm excited.
