Well, it's christmas. I hope y'all had a good day!
My mother and Ronnie gave me a Kitchenaid mixer and grinder attachment, a little change purse, and a little angel thingie. Matt gave me a CD wallet, and a bunch of CDs by bands that I've mentioned I liked, and my brother gave me an old navy gift card. Matt's mother gave me a lovely cashmere glove hat and scarf set. I thought it was a great day, and everyone seemed to like what we gave them.
Matt's mother had to be at laguardia this afternoon for her flight to south carolina to see Marc and Karen and the babies. Her flight was cancelled, as was every other flight to the south that Delta carried, and we were given the impression that there was no airline going there at all for 48 hours. So we drove her all the way home, and just as we were pulling off route 8 by Matt's house, Karen calls and says, "We got you a flight, and it leaves from Bradley at 5:45." It is 3 pm at this point. We drove her to Bradley, dropped her off, went to pick up Matt's car, and came home. Look what time it is when I posted this. We just got back about 5 minutes ago.
I'm tired. Have a good day, whoever you are, I'm going to eat and shower.
