I just remembered something funny that happened tuesday morning.
Matt and I work at 6 am every tuesday and friday, unloading the palettes that come on the restoration hardware shipment trucks. It's not fun, it sucks, but we work with each other, which is cool, and this girl Maggie.
Maggie is so cute, a total sweetheart, and seriously, the funniest person I've ever met.
Well, Matt and I got there at 6 am like we were supposed to, to find everyone else that was starting their shifts at 6 milling around in the parking lot, waiting for a manager with the code for the alarm to arrive. She ended up being like.. 20 minutes late anyway, so we all got back into our cars where it was warm.
We turned on the car and sat there for a while, talking, with the radio on in the background. Maggie comes bounding up to the car, opens the driver's side door and starts talking to us.
Then, there was a brief pause in the conversation, and I realize "Baby I Love Your Way" by Peter Frampton is on the radio. The following ensued.
Maggie: Are you guys listening to Peter Frampton? Do you want me to goooooooo?
Me: Ahhh, it's like that part in Reality Bites!
Matt: I haven't seen that in so long!
Maggie: My favorite part is when he's like, "What's your glitch?" and the other one's like, "My GLITCH?!"
I think you kind of had to be there, but.. like.. I want her to date my brother. So we can all hang out together, and stuff. I'm pushin it, she's coming over on christmas eve, so I hope something happens...
