I've almost finished reading La Peste for the second time, and like the first time, I feel really inspired. I feel I understand what Camus was saying, and the difference between him and Sartre, much better now - largely thanks to a random book attacking atheism which I found and flicked through in a bookshop. I'm reading Le Mythe de Sisyphe by Camus, and I'm in a very existentialist mood. I've only read a couple of pages so far, but one of the first things Camus goes into in this essay on the absurd is whether life is worth the pain of living.
