three candles burning in the night
I cannot draw my gaze away

The flicker’s welcoming my stay
Love, faith, and hope emit their glow
Wax veining, melting with the moon
A simple and sincere "hello"
Will touch the heart and spin the room
the laughter, people letting free
their souls are flying all about
and while they drink, they disagree
and while they age, more spirit sprouts
