this morning I got up and heard a fanfare outside my window, followed by the sound of horses' hooves. No, seriously, some kind of mounted regiment rode down my STREET at 8:30 in the morning! I felt like I was a medieval lady. London is crazy.
AND I bought a ticket for Berlin Nov 4-16. I'll spend one of those weekends in Berlin, one in Dresden, and time in between in Prague and maybe Krakow or Hungary. who knows? wherever we find a cheapish hostel. :) exciting!
